Hello Camp Director,

We would like to personally invite you to the 1st Annual Fairfield Camp Fair on Saturday, Jan. 30th at 10 am. This last year was difficult for many camps in the area and the region with registration down across the country. This upcoming year you can make a more targeted impact in the most affluent area in the country. The Fairfield County area is filled with families who are always seeking out new exciting programs and more often than not are committed to at least one program per child every summer.

The Fairfield Camp Fair will be held at the Fairfield Theatre Company conveniently located in downtown Fairfield across from the train station. This fantastic location provides easy travel for all visiting camps and families looking for summer activities. If coming from New York or connecting from other train locations, a car would not be necessary. The mid-morning start allows plenty of parking for all visitors. The Fairfield Theatre Company features a multi-purpose theatre and an attached building which is excellent for hosting this particular type of event.

Advertising leading up to the beginning of the fair will feature direct contact with the area schools both public and private. Because the Co-Sponsor of this event is the Fairfield Theatre Company, a not-for-profit organization, it allows the Fairfield Camp Fair the ability to place information about the event within area schools. Additional advertising will feature an email blast sent out to nearly 50,000 area patrons, banner advertisements visible to riders of the train into New York City, banner advertisements visible to drivers in downtown Fairfield, press releases to all area publications, articles the week of the event, and a calendar listing on events boards. The advertising should yield an excellent turnout at the Fairfield Camp Fair.
